Everyone can benefit from an exercise program especially children. Experiment with different forms of exercise - walking, yoga, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing - until you find one that you enjoy. Wear clothing that is comfortable and appropriate. Start slowly and work up to your goal over a period of time. Try to exercise as a family. Pick activities that include a form of exercise such as a bike ride or hike. Working out with a friend can be an incentive to your exercise program. A commitment to meet someone for a walk is a good incentive to get going.
